Integrations Microsoft Sentinel

Integration · SIEM

Microsoft Sentinel, planned on the read-first path.

Teams that run their SOC on Microsoft Sentinel have built detections, workbooks and automation around it. ApexAI is meant to add autonomous investigation and verification on top of that work. A Sentinel integration is planned and will follow the same path as every ApexAI integration.

Status: Roadmap Next on the roadmap: no Microsoft Sentinel connector is available today.

Add judgment, keep your SIEM

A SIEM collects, correlates and alerts. The work that remains is the expensive part: deciding which incidents are real, piecing together what else an account or host did, checking whether an attack succeeded and choosing a safe response. ApexAI is built for that work. With Sentinel, the goal is the same outcome customers get with Elastic today: investigations that cite the raw evidence, fewer alerts that need a person, and detections that improve over time.

As with every ApexAI integration, nothing is moved or replaced. Your logs and your rules stay in your workspace.

What the integration is intended to bring

  • Incidents and alerts

Read-only, joined to the hosts, users and IP addresses they concern, in one case per entity.

  • Evidence in place

Hunts and investigations that query your logs where they live, with every conclusion checked against the raw events.

  • Detection review

Findings on rules that never fire, are noisy or overlap, with tuning proposals your team approves and applies.

  • Response through your tools

Response prepared as proposals with evidence, scope and rollback, approved by people before anything runs.

The path every integration follows

  1. 01

    Read-only access

A connection with read rights only, and write calls refused inside ApexAI.

  2. 02

    Freshness and health

Incidents pulled close to real time, with a health card that flags delays or missing permissions.

  3. 03

    Understanding the data

A map of which tables and fields exist and what they mean.

  4. 04

    Tenant binding

Each workspace bound to its ApexAI tenant by a platform operator; unbound data is not used.

  5. 05

    Observe, then enable

Results compared with your team’s first; any action enabled only with your approval.

Questions

Does ApexAI work with Microsoft Sentinel today?

No. Sentinel is the next integration planned, but it is not available yet. Today ApexAI connects to Elastic, CrowdStrike Falcon and, in preview, Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM.

Would I have to move my logs out of Sentinel?

No. Like every ApexAI integration, it is designed to query your data where it lives, read-only, and keep only what is needed as evidence.

Would ApexAI change my analytics rules or automation?

No. ApexAI proposes changes and responses with evidence. People approve them, and your team applies them in your own tools.
