Questions
Is ApexAI SaaS?
No. ApexAI is an on-premise or private-cloud product. You run it; your data stays in your environment.
Do we need a cloud LLM?
No. The default AI backend is a local, Ollama-compatible model. A cloud LLM is optional, opt-in, and called only through the server-side AI Gateway.
Can ApexAI act on its own?
Only tier 0 noise is closed without a person, and only below a threshold calibrated on your verdicts. Anything that changes a real system needs a person’s approval; critical cases need two.
Can we license a single module?
Yes. The Autonomous SOC, PQC Shield and Privacy Shield are each licensed on their own, and every licence includes the Core.
Can it run without internet access?
Outbound connections are used only for security work: threat-intel feeds, CVE / PQC lookups and an optional cloud LLM. [Air-gapped update process — to be confirmed.]
Is there a pilot?
