Capabilities EDR, XDR and SIEM integrations

Capability · Integrations

Plug into the security tools you already run, read-only first.

ApexAI works on top of your existing EDR, XDR and SIEM. It reads alerts, host details and logs directly from them, ties everything to the right entities and tenants, and never writes to your tools unless you approve a specific action.

Status: Preview CrowdStrike Falcon, Elastic and Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM connectors run read-only in preview; Microsoft Sentinel is next, and write actions stay off until you approve them.

One integration path for every platform

Every platform ApexAI connects to goes through the same steps: a read-only connector, data pulled as fast as it changes, an understanding of what each field means, binding to the right customer or tenant, mapping onto entities, use in triage and investigation, response proposals, and continuous health checks. A new platform is considered integrated only when each step is in place.

The result is that a new source is not a one-off project. Alerts and host facts from an EDR end up on the same entity records, cases and briefs as alerts from your SIEM, and the verdict of each tool, such as “blocked” or “allowed”, is kept as evidence.

Supported platforms

  • CrowdStrike Falcon

Alerts, host details, sensor and policy posture, custom indicators and detection rules, read directly from Falcon. Status: preview, read-only.

  • CrowdStrike Falcon for MSSPs

A parent console with child customer accounts is supported: each child account is bound to its own tenant by a platform operator, and data never crosses between tenants. Status: preview, read-only.

  • Elastic

Direct read-only access to Elastic logs and detection rules, used for investigation, hunting and rule effectiveness. Status: preview, read-only.

  • Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM

Incidents, alerts and assets read directly from XSIAM for investigation and hunting, plus import-ready playbook proposals your team reviews. Status: preview, read-only.

What an integration brings into ApexAI

  • Alerts and detections, pulled close to real time and joined to the entity and case they belong to.
  • Host facts such as operating system, sensor state and applied protection policies, so ApexAI knows which machines are fully protected and which are not.
  • What the tool did: blocked, quarantined or allowed, shown plainly in notices.
  • Coverage gaps, such as hosts without a sensor or with protection in detect-only mode.
  • Detection rules and exclusions, checked for rules that never fire and exclusions that are too broad.
  • Remediation options for that platform, prepared as proposals for people to approve.

How onboarding works

  1. 01

    Grant read access

You create an API client with read-only permissions in your platform.

  2. 02

    Bind tenants

A platform operator maps each source account to its ApexAI tenant. Unbound data is not used.

  3. 03

    Check health

ApexAI reports data freshness, coverage and any missing permission on an integration health card.

  4. 04

    Observe

The new data feeds triage, investigation and hunting in observe mode while results are compared with your team’s.

  5. 05

    Enable step by step

Any write action, such as containment, is switched on per action class only after your approval.

Questions

Does ApexAI need write access to my EDR or SIEM?

No. Integrations start read-only, and the connectors refuse write calls in code. Write access is only needed later, for a specific response action you choose to enable, and each action still needs approval.

Can ApexAI work with a CrowdStrike MSSP setup?

Yes. A parent console with child customer accounts is supported. Each child account is bound to one tenant by a platform operator, and if a binding is missing the data is not used.

Is Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM supported?

Yes, in preview. ApexAI reads XSIAM incidents, alerts and assets read-only, uses them in observe mode and prepares playbook proposals for your team to import. ApexAI never runs them.

How fresh is the data?

Alerts and detections are pulled close to real time, inventory and policies less often. Each integration has a health card that flags data falling behind.
